Freelancers hired to translate and localize the Steam page and game texts reported using generative AI tools to assist with their work. They independently chose to incorporate generative AI tools to streamline their own workflow and manage multiple clients simultaneously. The developer never requested, directed, or encouraged the use of generative AI and does not promote its use as part of their own development practices. The developer’s own work does not rely on generative AI and its use was entirely external to the game’s development process. The developer did not use generative AI in the creation of the game’s code, gameplay mechanics, narrative, or core design. The use of generative AI is strictly limited to the commissioned or purchased third-party work performed independently by external contributors as described above, and was entirely independent of the developer’s decisions.
