AI Usage Disclosure
I’m a solo programmer building Final Night Firefight alongside a day job. I can’t draw or compose music, so I use generative AI tools for some artwork and music. Much of the game’s artwork is created with ChatGPT through an iterative process where I direct, review, and repeatedly rework assets until they fit the game’s visual direction. My time goes into what I can build myself: the combat, progression, matchmaking, and deeply interconnected item systems. For the music, Suho has created a soundtrack that I feel fits the game extremely well, and using AI tools has allowed Final Night Firefight to have a much larger 19-song soundtrack than I could realistically afford otherwise. I’m genuinely proud of what we ended up with. I may eventually replace some or all of the AI-assisted artwork with professionally created art if the game ever gets the funding to make that possible, but that is currently uncertain. The game does not generate AI content during gameplay.

Final Night Firefight uses generative AI tools during development to assist with the creation of some pre-generated game artwork, visual assets and music. I review, edit, and integrate all AI-assisted content as part of the game's development process. The game does not generate AI content live during gameplay.
