We believe A.I is a reasonable tool but cannot replace the conscious attention of a skilled artist. As such, we do use AI in our creative process for any number of things, including mesh generation, images for in-game framed paintings, some music, or the odd creative idea. However everything is processed by hand to ensure a high quality result.
We use AI tools throughout this project: meshes, in-game artwork, music, localization, and writing. The writing is a good example of how we work. The story, its structure, the choice design, and what the game shows you and when are all authored by us; AI tools draft and polish text within that design, and every line is edited and approved by hand. We believe AI is a powerful tool, not a replacement for the conscious attention of a skilled artist. We know everything that's in our game, and we stand behind all of it.
